Paul Pruett is Co-Chair of Locke Lord's Finance, Banking and Real Estate Department. He provides counsel to financial institutions in connection with the structuring, documentation and negotiation of construction, development, acquisition and term loans for various income-producing properties, including office buildings, retail shopping centers, multi-family projects, condominium towers, hotels, mini-storage, medical office buildings, industrial and warehouse facilities, mixed-use projects and residential lot developments.

His clients include large national and regional banks, and he has handled syndicated and unsyndicated transactions involving mezzanine financing, intercreditor arrangements, ground leases, pre-negotiated take-out purchasers, letters of credit and multi-state property portfolios. He also has extensive experience in loan workouts, restructurings and foreclosures.
Paul represents purchasers, developers and sellers of commercial real estate, such as office towers, multi-family, retail, auto dealerships, industrial warehouse, large ranch property and timberland, and has significant experience in negotiating leases for commercial landlords and tenants. He also counsels borrower clients in secured financing for privately and publicly held companies.
