AUVSI Unmanned Systems 2015 Conference

Georgia World Congress Center
Atlanta, GA

May 4-7, 2015

Matthew Kalas present on a panel entitled “Making the Most of Big Data” at the AUVSI Unmanned Systems 2015 Conference in Atlanta, GA.

Unmanned Systems 2015 convenes the largest global community of commercial and defense leaders in intelligent robotics, drones and unmanned systems, powered by AUVSI. On May 4, 2015, every domain — air, ground and maritime — and industry, from agriculture and construction to energy and academia, will converge under one roof to shape the future through shared thought leadership and technology innovations.

If there’s one thing unmanned systems do extremely well it is capturing tons and tons of data! This panel, entitled “Making the Most of Big Data,” will provide the audience with perspectives from industry experts on transferring, storing and managing the enormous volumes of information captured by the sensors on unmanned systems.  In many cases, it is the value of the acquired sensor data, rather than the platform, that is most important to the end user or client. In addition to transfer and storage, the session will also discuss privacy and regulatory issues.
