In Canada, we often work with the largest financial institutions in the country on cross-broader transactions. Our litigation lawyers are involved in significant multi-jurisdictional litigation as well as arbitration in Canada. In addition, our lawyers advise Canadian-based energy companies on investments in infrastructure and acquisitions in the United States and Europe.
Throughout the Caribbean, we advise on cross-border transactions as well as the regulation of import/export of goods in the region, including Cuba. We have lawyers particularly versed in the tax implications for foreign companies investing in the Cayman Islands, and our insurance lawyers work with their global clients on insurance matters in Bermuda.
