John’s experience includes the representation of:
- Patra, a provider of technology-enabled services for the insurance industry, in its $146 million growth investment as part of a recapitalization from FTV Capital
- Kosmos Energy in a crude oil prepayment agreement with Trafigura Trading LLC
- Cox Oil affiliate in the completion of the merger between affiliates of Cox and Energy XXI Gulf Coast, Inc., along with the associated financing arrangements
- ABRY Partners in its growth equity investment in RIMES Technologies
- A publicly held U.S. corporation in connection with a merger with a publicly held Canadian corporation
- A Special Committee in a "going private" sale transaction
- A company offering technology solutions to the hospitality industry in its sale to a major U.S. private equity firm
- An investment bank in numerous debt and equity financings, as well as routine business matters, ultimately resulting in the sale of its assets to a publicly traded New York investment bank
