6th Microbiome Movement: Skin Health & Dermatology Summit

Sharon Blinkoff will serve as a speaker during the 6th Microbiome Movement – Skin Health & Dermatology Summit on September 12-14, 2023 in San Diego, CA.

Sharon will discuss the “Overview of the U.S. FDA Regulatory Scheme That Apply to Products Based on Microbiome Technology” and will focus on FDA regulatory categories which establish various regulatory requirements for marketing dermatological products that utilize microbiome technology. The presentation will also include a review of newly passed U.S. cosmetic laws that will establish new challenges for marketing microbiome products as cosmetics.

The 6th Microbiome Movement - Skin Health & Dermatology Summit connects researches from academia and industry to address the unique areas of scientific research and development, as well as the consumer interfacing aspect of the industry. This three day event aims to fast-track the development of microbiome-targeting therapeutics and cosmetics that focus on characterization, clinical testing, product commercialization and claim substantiation.
