Locke Lord Names Denise Hanna Managing Partner of Washington, D.C. Office

November 24, 2015 – Locke Lord has named Partner Denise Hanna as Managing Partner of its Washington, D.C. office. Washington, D.C. is one of the Firm’s 23 offices located strategically across the country and around the world.

“Denise’s strong leadership skills and impressive legal backgrounds make her ideally suited to lead Locke Lord’s presence in these markets,” said Locke Lord Chair Jerry Clements. “We are pleased and excited with her expanded role.”

Hanna has been involved in health care legal and public policy matters for more than 20 years. She represents health insurance companies and managed care organizations, serving in lead roles in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and entity formation, managed care contracting, joint ventures and commercial contracting. Savoy magazine named Hanna as one of the country’s “Most Influential Black Lawyers” in 2015. A member of the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section, Hanna is a Vice Chair of its Managed Care & Insurance interest group and will serve as Co-Chair of the ABA’s 2015 Washington Health Law Summit in December.
