Stuart Bumpas Featured in Texas Lawyer on Locke Lord’s Art Law Section

Dallas Partner Stuart Bumpas spoke with Texas Lawyer about Locke Lord’s Art Law section, launched in early 2016, and the recent growth in demand for legal counsel in the sector. Bumpas, who leads the Firm’s Art Law group, noted: “It’s a burgeoning field. More and more people are not only collecting, but they are investing in art, and they need advice.”

Locke Lord’s Art Law section includes lawyers from across the Firm who are capable of advising clients with art-related legal issues. The Firm has represented museums, universities, and other cultural institutions, galleries and dealers in art, artists, private collectors, insurers and foundations across a broad spectrum of issues involved in creation, ownership, and transfer or rights in art.
