Locke Lord Partner Theodore Augustinos Quoted by Law360 on Rise of States' Interest in Privacy and Cybersecurity Issues

Theodore Augustinos (Hartford), a member of the steering committee of Locke Lord’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group and Managing Partner of the Hartford office, was quoted by Law360 on the uptick of interest from several states concerning privacy and cybersecurity issues. Augustinos noted he's recently observed, "more states are getting more involved more frequently when there are breach notifications."

Various state and federal agencies responsible for enforcement, "have really beefed up on the personnel they have minding the store on cybersecurity and privacy issues as it becomes an incredibly pertinent topic," Augustinos added.
