Jessica Rolls counsels businesses and individuals in a broad range of multifaceted civil disputes. She has additional experience in appellate law.
Jessica’s experience includes:
- Assistance with defense of clients in qui tam and False Claims Act investigations and lawsuits involving the mortgage services industry and healthcare and life sciences industries including allegations of Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute violations
- Assistance with defense of medical professionals and entities (e.g., management service organizations) in commercial dispute involving RICO claims for alleged conduct arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic
- Analyzing Medicaid and Medicare regulatory matters in regards to overpayment defense cases
- Assisting clients in health care regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse defense, payment suspension matters, and provider participation in state and federal health care programs
- Representation of a wholesale distributor in connection with the national prescription opioid litigation
- Counsel for national health insurance company in provider disputes brought in both arbitration and litigation, arising out of alleged breach of contract, fraud and a variety of other disputes
- Representation of an assisted living facility in breach of contract
- Representation of national and multi-national insurers in coverage and bad faith cases, from single plaintiff cases to mass actions and class actions
- Representation of mortgage lenders and loan servicers facing class actions and individual claims under federal statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Real State Settlement Procedures Act
- Representation of lenders and loan servicers against claims for wrongful foreclosure and claims brought under state consumer protection statutes
