2021 IACAA Virtual Conference

On May 3, Chicago Partner Michael Mannion will give a legislative update at the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies (IACAA) 2021 Virtual Conference. Born under the Johnson Administration as part of the War on Poverty, IACAA is a network for the state’s not-for-profit and related governmental units to address the daily challenges of the disadvantaged in Illinois. Nationwide, Community Action Agencies provide services to more than a quarter of all Americans living in poverty and to several million more families with incomes slightly higher than the poverty threshold every year. 2.8 million low-income children are among those served.
