Paige Waters will serve as a panelist and discuss “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: AI in the Life Insurance Industry” at the Association of Life Insurance Counsel (ALIC) Fly-in Regional Roundtable in Cincinnati, OH on October 3, 2023.
This panel will discuss the current state of regulation and governance regarding life insurers’ use and deployment of artificial intelligence, including AI’s privacy challenges and tensions. For example, tensions between data minimization and consumer rights to be forgotten versus required AI-testing and recordkeeping for regulatory oversight. The discussion will include best practices for using and deploying AI.
