Locke Lord’s Jed Hendrick Re-Appointed Chair of the Boston Bar Association, Boston Bar Foundation’s Joint Audit Committee

September 29, 2015 – Jed Hendrick, Locke Lord Corporate Partner and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Public Law and Governmental Affairs Group, has been re-appointed by the presidents of the Boston Bar  Association (BBA) and the Boston Bar Foundation (BBF) to Chair the Joint Audit Committee. Hendrick was originally appointed Chair in 2014.

Previously, Hendrick was a member of the BBA Council, its governing committee, and a member of the Steering Committee of the BBF’s 2014 John & Abigail Adams Benefit, one of the organization’s most successful fundraising events. In addition, he has served on the Nominating Committee for the BBA’s Beacon Award.

Hendrick serves as general counsel to numerous public and private companies and also advises closely-held businesses and their boards of directors regarding stockholder and fiduciary matters. He has handled complex commercial transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and entity formations, both domestic and cross-border, for clients in a variety of industries, including lease finance companies, healthcare providers, mutual insurance companies, technology companies, manufacturers, marketers and distributors of durable and consumer goods, software and food products, agricultural cooperatives, professional service organizations, and real estate investment and development entities.

A longtime leader in the Greater Boston community, Hendrick served as director at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and has been a volunteer tutor and participant in the Boston Plan for Excellence "Principal for a Day" Program at Boston Public Schools. He is an author and has been a faculty member on various seminar panels at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
