Veteran Corporate and Securities Lawyer and Former SEC ‎‎Division of Corporation Finance Senior Official Robert Evans III ‎‎Joins Locke Lord as Partner in New York; Expands Firm’s Capital ‎‎Markets Capabilities

(NEW YORK) February 5, 2019 – Robert Evans III, who most recently served as a senior official in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance, has joined Locke Lord’s New York office as a Partner in the Firm’s nationally recognized Corporate Practice Group. Evans is a veteran corporate and securities lawyer who will expand Locke Lord’s capital markets capabilities in New York and across the Firm.

Evans, who was a Partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP for more than two decades in the firm’s capital markets practice, focuses his practice in corporate and securities law and has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings of securities.
