Locke Lord Dallas Partner Brad Weber Elected Chair of Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of State Bar of Texas

(DALLAS) June 26, 2019 – Locke Lord Partner Brad Weber, a Past President of the Dallas Bar Association and former Director on the Board of the State Bar of Texas, began a one-year term as the Chair of the Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas following the Section’s Annual Meeting on June 13 in Austin. Weber previously served a one-year term as Chair-Elect of the Section.

Based in the Firm’s Dallas office, Weber serves as Co-Leader of Locke Lord’s Firm-wide Antitrust Practice Group and has developed a full-service antitrust practice with an emphasis on litigation, government investigations and antitrust compliance. His recent litigation cases have involved clients from a wide range of industries, including building products, travel services, energy, health care, medical devices, telecommunications, hotels and agriculture. He also has extensive experience representing clients in class actions and multidistrict litigation.

Weber has been recognized by The National Law Journal as one of the 25 Trailblazers in the United States for M&A and Antitrust Law. He consistently is recognized by Chambers USA for Antitrust Law, The Best Lawyers in America for Antitrust Law and by Super Lawyers magazine as a Texas Super Lawyer for Antitrust Litigation.

The State Bar of Texas is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Texas that provides educational programs for its members and the public, administers the Minimum Continuing Legal Education program for lawyers and manages the grievance process.
