Chicago Partner Ernesto Palomo Quoted in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s Coverage of Minority Bar CLE Conference

Ernesto Palomo, a Partner in Locke Lord’s Business Litigation and Arbitration Practice in Chicago and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, spoke to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin at the 7th Annual Minority Bar Continuing Legal Education Conference, which he co-moderated. Palomo is an active member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, one of the Conference’s original sponsors.

“We wanted a way to showcase and highlight and promote diverse talent in the Chicago legal community. That was the genesis of this,” Palomo said.

The conference, he said, is an opportunity for the leaders of local minority bar associations to network and discuss united advocacy for common interests.

Palomo spoke to the growth of the Conference’s sponsorship, from three sponsors in its first year to 12 in 2019.

“Now, we are starting to collaborate more with the other bars and I think that’s a big benefit,” he said.
