Locke Lord Chicago Partner Julie Webb Selected as 2020 LCLD Fellow

(CHICAGO) February 17, 2020 – Locke Lord Chicago Partner Julie Webb has been selected as a member of the 2020 Fellows Program for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). The program aims to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

According to LCLD, its landmark Fellows Program, established in 2011, is one of its most important initiatives. As a Fellow, Webb will participate in conferences, in-person training and projects with LCLD’s top leadership aimed at increasing leadership and relationship skills for lawyers who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The Pathfinder Program, now in its fifth year, targets high-performing associates. Pathfinders receive training in critical career development strategies, including leadership and the building of professional networks.

Webb is Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Chicago office Diversity and Inclusion Committee and a member of the Firm-wide Diversity and Inclusion and Technology Committees. As a member of the Firm’s Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, she represents financial institutions and other corporate clients in class actions and other complex matters nationwide and has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including early settlement opportunities, motion practice, discovery, trial and appeals.

Locke Lord has a long history of support and participation in LCLD initiatives. Previous Fellows include Chicago Partner Bilal Zaheer and Chicago Partner Ernesto Palomo. Chicago Associate Wasim Bleibel served as Locke Lord’s first participant in the Pathfinder Program in 2019.
