Law360 quoted Elizabeth Mack on her appointment as Dallas Office Managing Partner, discussing her experience advancing in the legal profession and within Locke Lord. Mack, who Chairs the Firm’s Environmental Section – Real Estate and Corporate, said the Firm has always been “extraordinarily supportive of women.”
She noted that Locke Lord's Dallas office has diverse practices, which is one of several reasons for its success despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The Firm’s lawyers, having played an integral role in Dallas' corporate and civic life for 130 years, remain dedicated to providing transactional, governance, trial and administrative legal services to the increasingly broad range of business entities that characterizes the city.
Mack is a nationally known lawyer with significant experience in brownfield redevelopment, environmental compliance, and environmental litigation. She has a deep understanding of the practical implications associated with environmental issues, combining business savvy with legal, scientific, and technical knowledge. She is a past Chair and current member of the Board of Directors of Texas Appleseed and serves on the Executive Committee of the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board. She is also a member of Locke Lord’s Firm Finance Committee and Women’s Initiative Committee.
