Austin's Patrick Hatfield Appointed to Texas Work Group on Blockchain Matters

Austin Partner Patrick Hatfield has been appointed to the inaugural Work Group on Blockchain Matters by Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. The Work Group on Blockchain Matters was created by House Bill 1576 during the 87th Legislature to develop a master plan for the expansion of the blockchain industry in Texas and recommend policies and state investments in connection with blockchain technology. The Work Group is chaired by SMU’s Dedman School of Law Professor Carla Reyes who also Chairs the ABA’s Business Law Section’s UCC Article 2 Committee.
