Locke Lord’s Stephanie Wickouski and Chelsey Rosenbloom List’s Article Selected for Inclusion in Best of ABI 2022: The Year in Business Bankruptcy

New York Partner Stephanie Wickouski and Associate Chelsey Rosenbloom List were recognized by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) in “Best of ABI 2022: The Year in Business Bankruptcy,” highlighting the best ABI Journal articles discussing top trends in both business and consumer bankruptcy. Wickouski and List’s co-authored article, “Second Circuit Changes the Game in Alix v. McKinsey” explores the impact of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit’s recent decision in Jay Alix v. McKinsey & Co. Inc., which is a case that examines whether a reciprocal referral arrangement — an alleged “pay-to-play” scheme — between a law firm and a restructuring advisory firm needed to be disclosed to the bankruptcy court in connection with the restructuring advisory firm’s retention.
