Association Health Plans: Opportunity, Risks and Upcoming Battles

Locke Lord’s Brian Casey, Co-Chair of the Regulatory and Transactional Insurance Practice Group, and Ben Sykes, a Partner in the Firm’s Regulatory and Transactional Insurance Practice Group, co-authored an article discussing the opportunity, risks and upcoming battles of association health plans (AHPs) after the federal Department of Labor issued its final regulation, making it much easier for small employers and sole proprietors to join together to offer AHPs to their workers.
