Kathleen M. Conlon

Katie Conlon focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance transactions and the issuance of nonconsolidation opinions, true lease opinions and true sale opinions on behalf of bankruptcy-remote, special purpose entities. Katie represents borrowers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine financings of hotels, shopping malls, office buildings, apartment buildings, independent living facilities and other properties.

Katie has also represented banks and other financial institutions in connection with regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, lending transactions and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining the Firm, Katie was a Staff Attorney for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and a Law Clerk to United States Bankruptcy Judge Joan N. Feeney.

Outside the Firm, Katie served for nine years as an elected member of the Town of Milton's Select Board. She is a former President of the Massachusetts Select Board Association. In the past, Katie served on the boards of directors of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, Inc., the Massachusetts Municipal Association and other nonprofit organizations.
