Akilah Craig's litigation experience includes representing employers in and before federal and state courts and administrative agencies on claims arising under various employment statutes, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act and their state law counterparts. She also counsels clients on a wide range of employment matters, including employment of minors, federal and state law wage and hour requirements, internal investigations, and discharge and discipline of employees.
Akilah also has significant transactional experience drafting employment agreements, separation and release agreements, restrictive covenants such as non-disclosure, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and conducting due diligence associated with employment matters in asset and equity transactions.
