Gabby Gelozin assists clients with foreign and domestic patent matters, including patent drafting, prosecution, appeal before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board, as well as supervising corresponding foreign prosecution and prosecuting incoming foreign priority applications from foreign jurisdictions, including Europe, Korea and Japan. Gabby also has experience in preparing and filing international design registrations through the Hague and prosecuting the same in both the United States and internationally.
Gabby focuses her preparation and prosecution practice in technology sectors such as aeronautics and aerospace, including turbomachinery, fuel systems, sensors, optics, avionics, electronics, additive manufacturing, heat exchange, fluids and alternative fuels as well as medical devices, packaging sciences, power generation, household and commercial appliances, HVAC and luxury footwear.

Gabby provides assistance in conducting freedom to operate and clearance searches along with preparing patent non-infringement and invalidity opinions. Gabby assists in IP due diligence matters regarding the transfer of intellectual property assets arising as a result of merger, acquisition or bankruptcy. Gabby also provides litigation assistance for general litigation, IP and patent infringement litigation, and post grant review actions, such as inter partes review.
Gabby is a member of the Firm’s IP Advertising, Marketing and Social Media Group.
Prior to joining the Firm, while attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, Gabby served as an officer of the Energy and Environmental Law Society and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Society, served as the Technology Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and worked as a web developer designing the law school’s next generation website.
