Kyle Gerlach focuses his practice on financial services litigation. He has extensive experience in state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals, including drafting pleadings and motions, coordinating large-scale discovery and handling settlement negotiations.
Kyle frequently advises financial institution clients on creditors’ rights issues in the context of the federal consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Truth In Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and similar state regulations.
His additional experience includes working with clients on creditors’ rights and collections, employer non-competition issues and product liability defense issues.
