Matthew’s experience includes defending oil and gas producers in royalty litigation and other commercial disputes, defending against civil antitrust claims and defending banks, mortgage servicers, student loan servicers and other financial services entities against claims arising under various consumer protection and debt collection statutes. Matthew also has particular experience defending lawsuits arising under the home equity provisions of the Texas Constitution, and assists in both state and federal appeals of his matters.
