Kaci’s representative experience includes:
- Assistance with defense of clients in qui tam and False Claims Act investigations and lawsuits involving the mortgage services industry and health care and life sciences industries, including allegations of Anti-Kickback Statute violations
- Representation of a wholesale distributor in connection with the national prescription opioid litigation
- Representation of mortgage lenders and loan servicers facing individual claims under federal statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Representation of medical professionals in commercial dispute involving RICO claims for alleged conduct arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic
Prior to joining the Firm, Kaci was a student attorney and Chief Counsel for the SMU Dedman School of Law Criminal Justice Clinic, student attorney for the SMU Dedman School of Law Child Advocacy Clinic, legal intern to Hon. Martin Hoffman in the 68th Civil District Court and interned for the U.S. Senate.
