DeLaina Mulcahy is a Partner in the Houston office of Locke Lord LLP where her practice includes representing banks and borrowers in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of secured and unsecured transactions relating to acquisition financings, syndicated facilities, participated loans, mezzanine financings, subordinated debt, ABL, real estate financings, construction loans, working capital lines of credit, multi-state collateral lending, loan restructuring and workouts, and other traditional commercial financings.
DeLaina has also served as bond counsel, bank counsel, trustee’s counsel, issuer’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in taxable and tax-exempt transactions for nonprofit organizations and private entities. Her practice focuses on the issuance, direct purchases and private placements of securities, including tax-exempt and tax advantaged bonds, notes and other obligations issued by municipal and other governmental entities secured by real estate, revenues, deposit accounts and other UCC collateral, as well as obligations guaranteed by the Permanent School Fund.
