Owen was a member of a trial team on a matter that received national media coverage involving claims of discrimination by a former employee of an F500 company. Owen was also a member of a separate trial team on a matter involving claims of discrimination and retaliation from a C-Suite level employee of a large, publicly-traded corporation. He also has first chair trial experience, preparing for and defending a publicly-traded client against plaintiff's breach of contract claims at the state district court level.

His additional litigation experience includes being the primary author of dispositive motions, memoranda, position statements and discovery motions before federal courts, state courts and administrative agencies. He has extensive second chair experience on single-plaintiff matters arising under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and other state and federal law, as well as whistleblower claims under the FCA, NDAA, DCWPA and D.C. common law.
