Rowe W. Snider

Rowe Snider is a partner in Locke Lord's Business Litigation and Arbitration group. In his 30 years of professional experience, Rowe has concentrated on complex commercial litigation matters, including insurance insolvency litigation, class action cases, and a variety of other cases involving complex regulatory, scientific and technical issues. He has handled such matters in state and federal courts throughout the country, both as lead lawyer and as part of multi-lawyer teams in cases having extremely large exposure. Rowe's experience ranges from administrative proceedings and arbitration to large multi-state, multi-party litigation. Rowe's particular areas of substantive experience include state and federal antitrust law, insurance insolvency law, insurance regulation, and class action litigation. Additionally, Rowe does a substantial amount of antitrust and regulatory counseling.

Rowe has represented a wide variety of clients in the insurance industry, including large insurance and reinsurance companies, insurance guaranty funds, insurance trade associations, rating organizations and residual market mechanisms. Rowe's representative clients include the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund, the California Insurance Guarantee Association, the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds, The Travelers Group, The Hartford, and the National Workers Compensation Reinsurance Pool.
