A Locke Lord team led by Christine McCay (Boston), Mike Serra and Jeff Jefferson (both of Providence) represented affiliates of Trent Capital Partners in the acquisition of Microporous, a leading manufacturer of high-performance battery separators for lead-acid batteries, and the related debt and equity financing for the acquisition. The transaction will spur Microporous’ future growth in the lithium-ion battery separator market, including the establishment of a U.S.-based lithium-ion battery separator manufacturing facility.
