Tyler Self focuses his practice on environmental and natural resources law.
He has experience in representing the world’s leading energy firms in resolving complex environmental issues, including, but not limited to, the Clean Air Act (CAA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and a variety of general and hazardous waste statutory schemes.

He has experience in representing the world’s leading energy firms in resolving complex environmental issues, including, but not limited to, the Clean Air Act (CAA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and a variety of general and hazardous waste statutory schemes.
His practice is also focused on environmental permitting, environmental enforcement and litigation, regulatory compliance counseling and transaction-related environmental matters. He also has experience in assisting in agency negotiations with federal and state agencies, assessing and counseling on air, water, stormwater and waste permit compliance, and representing clients at contested permit enforcement and other hearings.
Further, he has recently acquired experience in a variety of practice areas, including assisting in internal environmental investigations and audits, advising on waste transportation and management issues, and assessing, structuring, and assisting in the negotiation of the allocation of environmental risks affecting transactions.
